4.3 Setpoint offset
This function allows automatic cooling and heating setpoint variation within a preset range, based on a signal sent to the unit
controller. The function monitors in real time the input value (analogue signal, or temperature read by the remote 1 T+H probe,
or temperature red by the external T+H probe, or the calculated return temperature), and calculates the offset value based on
the parameters. To this value are then added/subtracted the cooling and heating setpoints, which therefore become “offset”
setpoints.
The logic in case of probe reading is shown below.
P50.01
Offset setpoint (°C)
P27.23P27.22
P27.24
Probe reading (°C)
Figure 4-2: Chart showing the setpoint offset from probe.
To ensure independent management of the offset both during cooling and heating, a second set of three parameters for the
heating setpoint has been introduced.

INFORMATION:
Compensation via the calculated return air temperature is only available if at least one probe is
selected for the calculation of this temperature through parameter P28.19.
