Chapter Five: Maintenance
General Information
Periodically check for wear on the cables and inspect the enclosure for visible signs of damage.
Zero Adjustment
For best accuracy and repeatability, you should check the zero setting for both the pressure
transducer and the flow meter periodically and reset it, if necessary. Refer to
How To Check the
Pressure Transducer Zero
, page 33, and How To Zero the Integral Mass Flow Meter, page 35,
for instructions on setting the zero. The frequency of checking the zero is dependent on the
specific accuracy and repeatability required by your process. It is also recommended that the
instrument be recalibrated annually if no other time interval has been specifically established.
Refer to the inside of the back cover of this instruction manual for a complete list of MKS
Calibration and Service centers.
