9.5.2. Plumbing Instructions (MC)
Ensure 1/2” black push lock hose from drain of MP1200, bottom of unit, connects to the 1/2"
hose barb on top of return of the R Series. Refer to B MP1200 INSTALL manual supplied with
MP 1200 mist collector;
Install supplied 6” flange on top of machine tool working cabinet;
o Install away from direct coolant spray to avoid heavy fluid particles entering MP 1200
filter system.
o Heavy liquid particles will greatly reduce filter life and performance.
With 6” flange installed on machine tool, it may be necessary to use hard piping to allow for a
slight slope. The slope will allow the remaining liquid to return to machine tool cabinet;
o If using supplied 6” polywire hose, a rigied support bracket may need to be constructed
to allow the hose to have a slope and stay in place.
Avoid sagging of 6” polywire hose leading to MP 1200;
o Less sag will help prevent fluid from collecting and potentially become ingested by MP
1200.
