7.5. Alarms
The machine uses one alarm output to interface with machine tool. If a fault occurs, a
signal is sent to the alarm circuit on machine tool, which, typically, will put machine tool
into a feed hold. The units PLC will display fault type.
Alarm will not clear off PLC display until fault has been rectified. Once fault has been
remedied, press [
] to clear alarm.
ALARM DISPLAY SYMPTOM(S) CAUSE
Slow Fill/Change Bag or Check
Feed Pump
Tank will not fill fast enough to
keep up with output.
Improper supply pump
rotation.
Clogged filter.
Priming issue.
Machine tool coolant
screen clogged.
Obstructed hoses.
Dip tube not fully
submerged.
C.B. TRIP RESET
ENTER TO CLEAR
Motor overload tripped
Electric motor short
cycle.
Electric motor shorting.
Load on motor to great.
Electric motor over load
set to low.
Electrical short in system
causing overload to trip.
