Ventilation
•Pleaseusethismachineinaplacewithgoodventilation.
Using it for long periods in poor ventilation may harm your health. Please periodically ventilate the room.
•Donotblocktheheatdissipationventsofthemachine.Poorheatdissipationcanleadtoariseininternal
temperatures and cause malfunctions.
•Newmachinesareemittingsomegasesingeneral.Accordingtothispleasetakecareofaiructuationsinthe
room for the first days. At high usage it is recommended to keep a distance to the working places.
Battery
A lithium battery and Ni-MH (Nickel Metal Hydride) batteries are installed inside machine as back up memory
batteries. (Refer to “Recycling,” below.)
Recycling
Old machines, batteries, empty toner cartridges, drum units and developing units will be return the local
Muratec partner and will be recycled. Machines for consumer usage can be recycled at local recycling stations
without any charge. Batteries should not be thrown in the usual waste.
