Handling of consumables
Never burn or dispose of the toner cartridge or developing unit in a fire. This could cause any remaining toner to
ignite, resulting in a larger fire and/or burns.
Toner cartridges should not be opened with force. Leaking toner should not be inhaled. Contact with skin should
also be avoided. Cartridges should be stored out of children reach. If your skin get in contact with toner clean it
under floating water and soap. In case of skin irritation please consult a doctor.

•Placessubjecttohightemperatureand/orhighhumidity
•Placessubjecttorapidtemperaturechanges

•Donotdirectlytouchthephotoreceptorsurfaceofthedrumunit,orexposeittodirectsunlight.Thiscould
cause defects in printing quality.
•Donotleavethedrumunit,developingunit,ortonercartridgesupsidedownoronanincline.Thiscouldcause
defects in printing quality.
•Donotdisassemblethedrumunit,developingunit,ortonercartridge.
•Protectthedrumunit,developingunit,andtonercartridgefromshocksandvibration.
•Donotremovethedrumunit,developingunit,andtonercartridgefromtheirpackaginguntilyouarereadyto
use them.
Daily maintenance
•Thefuserunitandareaarounditinsidethemachineareextremelyhotwhenoperating.Whenyouclearthe
paper jam or inspect inside, be careful not to touch around the fuser unit. It may cause burns.
•Whenclearingpaperjamsorreplacingthetonercartridge,becarefulnottogettonerpowderintoyoureyes
or mouth. If the toner gets in your eyes or mouth, immediately flush with clean water and seek medical assis-
tance.
•Becarefulnottostainyourhandsorclotheswiththetoner.Ifyourhandsorclothesgetstained,washthem
immediately with cold water. The stains may become permanent if washed using warm water.
•Donotperformanyoperationsnotdescribedinthismanual.
