(4) TEMPO encoder: The TEMPO encoder controls the global tempo. For more information, refer

(5) CUE MIX knob: The
CUE MIX knob balances your headphone mix between the signal going
out to the
MAIN and the CUE. For more information, refer to section 4.4.2.3, CUE MIX Knob.
(6) CUE VOL knob: The
CUE VOL knob controls the headphone level for both headphone con-
nectors on the front panel. For more information, refer to section
4.4.2.2, CUE VOL Knob.
(7) AUX button: The
AUX button adds the signals from the devices connected at the AUX sec-
tion into the Main mix. For more information, refer to section
4.4.2.8, AUX Button.
(8) Crossfader: The Crossfader controls the mix between the channel(s) assigned to its left and
right side. For more information, refer to section
4.4.2.1, Crossfader.
4.4.2.1 Crossfader
The Crossfader controls the mix between the channels assigned to its left and right side via the
Crossfader Assign Switches on S5's front panel.
The Crossfader
The Crossfader controls the mix between the channels assigned. On the S5 the crossfader fol-
lows the assignment made in the TRAKTOR Software. By default, Decks A and C are assigned
to the crossfaders left side and Decks B and D are assigned to the right side.
