Table 1 Drive Ports and DriveDrive Channels on the CE6998 Controller Tray
NOTE When you connect the CE6998 controller tray, it is important to note that drive
channel 1 and drive channel 3 are a redundant pair, and drive channel 2 and drive
channel 4 are a redundant pair. In other words, if a failure occurred in drive channel 1,
drive channel 3 would allow communication with the drives. If a failure occurred in
drive channel 2, drive channel 4 would allow communication with the drives.
