Operatingtheunitwithlessthantherecom-
mendedrearcounterweightmaycausethe
unittobecomeunstableandoverturn.
Failuretocomplycouldresultindeathorse-

Ifthemachineisonlyttedwithaloaderattachment,you
mustmountfour453.6kg(998lb)weightsattherearof
theunittoprovidecounterbalanceduringloaderopera-
tion.Thisprovidesatotalof1814.4kg(3992lb)counter-
balancetotherearoftheunit.
Toobtainsufcientcounterbalanceforbackhoeoperation,
youcanaddweighttotheunitintheformofcastcounter-
weightsandliquidballast.
Whereadditionalstabilityduringoperationoftheback-
hoeisrequiredliquidballastcanbeaddedtothetires,
asabovetable.
Becausespecialequipmentisrequiredtollthetiresitis
recommendedthatthisbecarriedoutbyyourdealer.
NOTICE:Onlyaddthequantityofballastnecessaryto
ensurethecorrectstability.Excessballastoverloadsthe
machineunnecessarilyandincreasesfuelconsumption.
Whenaddingballast,donotexceedthemaximumload
ratingsforthetires.

Whenaddingballastthetotalweightofthemachinein-
