Removinganattachmentwithamechanicalquickcoupler
1.Makesurethatallunauthorizedworkersorbystanders
areawayfromthemachine.
2.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
3.Lowerthestabilizerstotheground.
4.Levelthemachine.
5.Rollthebucketoutward.
6.Extendtheboomanddipper.
NOTE:Foreasieraccesstothebucketpinslater,prop
upthebucketpinside(3)onasuitablesupportde-
vice(4)capableofevenlysupportingtheweightofthe
bucket.Makesurethatthebucketpinsideishigher
thenthebucketteethside.
7.Lowerthebackhoeuntilthebucketisjusttouchingthe
groundorsupport.Donotapplydownforceonthe
bucket.

8.Turnofftheengineandremovethekey.
9.Insertthehandle(2)intothemechanicalcoupler(1).
10.Pullthehandletowardsthebuckettoreleasethetop
ofthequickcouplerfromthebucket.
11.Releaseandremovethehandlefromthequickcou-
pler.
NOTE:Storethehandleinthetoolbox.
12.Starttheengine.
13.Usethebackhoecontrolstorotatethequickcoupler
outawayfromthelowerbucketpin.
14.Makesurethatyouraisethestabilizersbeforemov-
ingthemachine.
