ThissectionprovidesinformationaboutRollOverPro-
tectiveStructure(ROPS)andFallingObjectsProtective
Structure(FOPS).
Alwaysadheretothesafetyprecautionsrelatedtothe
Cabprotectionssystemslistedbelow:

Themachineisprovidedwithasafetystructurefor
theoperator:
•
Anti-overturnsafetysystem(ROPS)accordingto
directivesISO3471,SAE1040C
•
Safetysystemagainstthefallofobjects(FOPS)
accordingtothedirectivesISO3449,SAEJ231
protectionlevel2.
•
AROPScanconsistofthecabframeorofatwoor
fouruprightsstructureusedforthesafetyoftheop-
erator,soastominimizethepossibilityofseverein-
juries.Thestructureandthefasteningdeviceswhich
constitutetheconnectionwiththemachinearepart
oftheROPS.
•
Theprotectivestructureisaspecialsafetycompo-
nentofyourmachine.
•
DONOTattachanydevicetotheprotectivestructure
forpullingpurposes.
•
DONOTdrillholestotheProtectiveStructure.
•
Theprotectivestructureandinterconnectingcompo-
nentsareacertiedsystem.Anydamage,re,cor-
rosionormodicationwillweakenthestructureand
reduceyourprotection.Ifthisoccurs,theprotective
structureMUSTbereplacedsothatitwillprovide
thesameprotectionasanewProtectiveStructure.
ContactyourdealerforProtectiveStructureinspec-
tionandreplacement.

Afteranaccident,re,tiporrollover,thefollowing
MUSTbeperformedbyaqualiedtechnicianbefore
returningthemachinetoeldorjobsiteoperation.
•
TheprotectivestructureMUSTbereplaced.
•
ThemountingorsuspensionfortheProtective
Structure,operatorseatandsuspension,seat
beltsandmountingcomponentsandwiringwithin
theoperator’sprotectivesystemMUSTbecare-
fullyinspectedfordamage.
•
AlldamagedpartsMUSTbereplaced.
