System Details
4.1 Hardware
The OpenSPR-XT™ instrument consists of an OpenSPR unit and an XT autosampler unit [Figure
4.1]. The OpenSPR unit contains the optical detection system, while the XT autosampler unit
contains the majority of the fluidics system as well as the sample storage area.

4.1.1 OpenSPR Unit
The OpenSPR unit consists of an optical detection system, a sensor chip, and a fluidics system
that interfaces with the XT autosampler [Figure 4.2].
