7A External Blowers
for Cooling
Forced air is used to cool the UV bulb and magnetron. The lamphead
requires approximately 315 cfm at 5.5 in. W.C. of cooling air per
lamphead in order to function properly. The external blowers must be
sized appropriately to provide adequate cooling.
NOTE: Pressure must be properly adjusted to provide sufficient
cooling.
The system can be used with external or internal blowers depending
on the style of the user’s system.
7B Internal Blower
8 Temperature
Sensor
Monitors the cooling air temperature.
9 Power Supplies Furnish power to the magnetrons.
10 RF Detector Detects leakage of microwaves. Will shut down system if triggered.
