Network Connections
See Figure 3-3. Up to 16 power supplies can be connected together with
RJ-45 cables to form a network which can then be operated from the master
power supply front panel or from a remote source.
Master/Slave: When you configure the power supplies, you can set one
unit (usually the first unit in the chain) as the Master with the rest as Slaves.
Termination: The first and last units on the network must also be
terminated to prevent transmission line data errors. This is also done
through software.
Refer to Power Supply Configuration on page 3-19 to make these settings.
Remote I/O Inputs and Outputs
Refer to Figure 3-4 and Table 3-3. All outputs from the output connector are
normally open relay contacts and are rated at 120 Vac, one ampere
maximum.
