5. CLEANING AND LUBRICATION
5.1 Cleaning
Cautions
1. Be sure to turn OFF the AC POWER switch before cleaning. Remove the AC power cord
from the printer.
2. Avoid dust inside the printer mechanism when cleaning.
3. If a lubricated part has been cleaned, be sure to apply lubricating oil to that part after
cleaning.
(1) Cleaning time
After six months or 300 hours of operation, whichever comes first.
(2) Cleaning tools
Dry cloth (soft cloth such as gauze), vacuum cleaner
(3) Places to be cleaned
