4.2 Instrument Cleaning
When needed, wash the 72DL PLUS gauge with only mild soap and water on a damp
cloth.
4.3 Verifying O-Ring Gaskets and Seals
The 72DL PLUS precision thickness gauge contains seals that are used to protect the
instrument’s internal hardware from the environment. These include:
• Battery compartment cover seal
• Side door seal
• Membrane vent
