Cleaning the LCD monitor
LCD monitor viewing problems due to fingerprints and dirt
Wipe the LCD monitor with a soft cloth moistened with clean water. Then, lightly wipe it with a
clean and dry cloth.
NOTE
Never use a chemically treated cloth or strong detergent, such as benzine or alcohol.
Otherwise, the surface of the LCD monitor may be damaged.
Do not use a cloth that is hard, dirty, or has foreign substance on it. Otherwise, the surface
of the LCD monitor may be damaged.

Cleaning of other units
If the base unit or scope unit is dirty, wipe it with a soft cloth moistened with clean water. Then,
lightly wipe it with a clean, dry cloth. Wipe away any dirt or water droplets on the inner face of
the battery compartment, interface, SD card door and relay cable doors, as well as the mounting
parts of the base unit and scope unit.
Air-blow to remove dust and the like from the areas around the lens and terminals of the LED
unit without touching them directly.
9-4 Storing to the case
1 Turn OFF the power and remove the battery or unplug the AC adapter.
2 Attach the scope unit to the rear of the base unit.
For details on attaching the unit, refer to “Connecting the base unit and scope unit”
(page 32).
