3-6 Placing the base unit
The base unit can be placed on a flat surface, be hung from a height, or be attached to a tripod
for operation and observation.
■ Placing the base unit on a flat surface
When performing the observation by placing the base unit on a flat surface, use the handle as
a stand.
Adjust the handle so that the LCD monitor screen is at an easy-to-view angle. The angle of the
handle can be adjusted within the range as shown above.
■ Hanging the base unit
When performing the observation by hanging the base unit, adjust
the angle of the handle and hook the handle to hang the base unit.
The unit can be hung onto a pipe of diameter less than Φ40 mm.
■ Attaching the unit to a tripod
When making observations using a tripod, mount the unit to the tripod using the tripod mounting
hole on the base unit.
CAUTION
Make sure to mount the unit firmly to prevent it from falling off the tripod, which may cause
injury or damage to the unit as a result.
