1 To attach the light source unit, perform the same steps for removing the unit in the
reverse order.
When a UV LED unit is connected, a confirmation screen will appear when you turn on the
power of this unit.
NOTE
Fasten the 4 bolts tightly with a hexagonal wrench, and check to ensure that there is no
rattling.
If the bolts come loose during use, the waterproof performance between the LED unit and the
scope unit may be lost, or the terminals of the LED unit or scope unit may be damaged as a
result.
Check to ensure that no dirt, dust or water is adhered to the terminals.
7-2 Observation using UV light
TIP
Reset the white balance when using a UV LED unit. Doing so may help to reduce the blue
hue of the images.
Check the LED icon ( ) to see whether the UV LED unit is illuminated.
Make sure to follow the descriptions in this instruction manual during use.
7-3 Observation using IR light
TIP
Check the LED icon ( ) to see whether the IR LED unit is illuminated.
White streaks may appear only when using the side-view optical adapter but this is not an
abnormality. Reducing the brightness may reduce the white streaks.
