Adjusting the brightness
Brightness adjustment using the [BRT] lever
The [BRT] lever is used to adjust the brightness when changing the overall brightness of the live
image during observation.
Pushing the [BRT] lever upward brightens the overall image and pushing it downward darkens
the image.
Brightness can be adjusted to one of the 16 different levels.
Switching the Gain Mode
Pressing the [LIVE] button while a live image is displayed switches the gain mode.
Mode Description
Auto (No Display) This mode automatically adjusts the brightness according to the
settings of “BRT”. However, noise may increase depending on the
“BRT” settings.
WiDER1 This mode is used for displaying live images at a level brighter than
“Auto (No Display)”. However, the noise may increase under certain
observation conditions.
WiDER2 This mode is used for displaying live images at a level brighter than
“WiDER1”. However, the noise may increase under certain observation
conditions.
Manual This mode is for observation at a fixed brightness level according to
the “BRT” settings. Use this to observe moving subjects. Noise may
also be noticeable in this mode compared to the other modes.
TIP
The gain mode for IPLEX GT is fixed at Auto (No Display).
