■ Moving the cursor
To move the cursor, operate the [MEAS/OK] joystick by pushing it toward the direction that you
want to move the cursor to.
■ Starting the measurement
Press the [MEAS/OK] joystick. The measurement method screen is displayed.
TIP
While checking the distance to the measurement area by using the spot ranging function,
approach the measurement area up to the recommended measurement distance.
Generally, the closer the measurement object approaches, the more accurate the
measurement becomes.
■ Finishing the spot ranging
Pressing the [LIVE] button displays the live screen or freeze screen.
Pressing the [LIVE] button during spot ranging in the freeze screen mode switches to spot
ranging in the live screen mode.
Pressing the [LIVE] button during spot ranging in the live screen mode displays the live screen.

Pressing the [MENU] button displays the menu screen.

Short-pressing the [VIEW] button displays the view screen while long-pressing the button
displays the thumbnail screen.
