Note To remove a Terminal Resistor which has been attached, hold the latches on
both sides of the Resistor, and pull it out.
When a Slave Unit or a Repeater Unit has a multidrop connection, the Termi-
nal Resistor can be directly attached to the Multidrop Connector that is
mounted on the Unit. This is only applicable with Flat Cable I cables.
Flat Cable II A DCN4-TR4 Flat Connector Socket is mounted on the communications
cable. Then a DCN4-TM4 Terminating Resistor is attached to the Socket.
■ Mounting Procedure
Press the Terminating Resistor into the Socket until it clicks into place.
