Describes the connection processing to connector hood of shield as the following. The connection pro-
cessing is changed according to the transfer speed.
• 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX
Connects the shield of its both ends to each of connector hoods. Connects the shield of only one side
of switching hub to connector hoods.
• 1000BASE-T
Connects the shield of its both ends to each of connector hoods.
