6.1.2 Restarting
Before restarting run a safety check.

Before connecting the metal belt saw you must check that
• there is no danger for personnel
,
• the metal belt saw is undamaged.
6.2 Revision and maintenance
The type and extent of wear depends to a large extent on the individual usage and service con-
ditions. For this reason, all the intervals are only valid for the authorised conditions.

sion in the saw belt
Loosen the hexagon-head screw.
Turn the hand wheel clockwise to increase the ten-
sion in the saw belt.
The saw belt is at the right tension if it can be moved
3 mm in the centre applying a force of approximately
50 N.

INFORMATION
Do not strain the saw blade more than neces-
sary. The blade could be overstretched and
become warped.
