5.3. Reclosing after tripping by minimum frequency
5.3.1. General description
After a trip by minimum frequency, if the function is enabled
and not locked, the unit tries only one reclosing.
When the unit trips, the recloser moves onto ongoing cycle
and waits the programmed closing time; in that moment,
if the minimum frequency condition is set as “NO” or if the
frequency is higher than the minimum programmed, the
close command is given to the breaker. If the minimum
frequency condition is set as “YES” and it is not fullled, it
moves to denitive trip.
The signal 79 f-switch/circuit breaker closing blocking is
active until the reclosing or denitive tripping conditions
are met.
If the “denitive tripping waiting time” has elapsed and the
reclosing conditions have not been met, it goes to denitive
tripping if “denitive tripping waiting time” is set to “YES”. If
it is set to “NO”, it remains waiting for reclosing conditions
indenitely.
There is a reclaim time after the closure, if during that time
a new trip by minimum frequency happens, it moves to
denitive trip.
Setting the recloser out of service by command or by
locking by digital input aects both this operating mode
and the trip by current operating mode.
