5.1.2. Operation
The gures below represent the sequence of events for a
recloser which has been programmed for three reclosing
attempts, with TR1, TR2 and TR3 as the corresponding
reclosing times, with a reclaim Tsec, for dierent situations:
1. First successful reclosing

Once the surveillance state has been reached, a new trip
causes the start of a new cicle, restarting the reclosing 1, as
shown below:

It may happen that a low current permanent fault causes tripping after expiring the reclaim time. In
order to avoid that, in such situation, all the reclosings become rst reclosings and a denitive trip is
never reached, the reclaim time is automatically extended if there is a starting until it drops-o or trips.
