Normal: In the time period set for normal video, the video file type is "R";
Detection: When set within a given time period the "Motion Detection",
"Video Block", "Video Loss", "Exception Handling" functions will be switched
on to give out an alarm signal when the alarm is triggered. Also when these
alarms are triggered the DVR will start recording. Video file type is "M".
Alarm: When set within a given time period if the alarm is triggered a signal
will be sent to an external alarm, and the "Alarm Input" function is set to
open the video function to start detection recording. Video file type is "A".

2.7.3 Video backup
Backup the recoreded video files to an external storage device. You can then
playback backed up files on a separate PC workstation.
Note: Before backing up video files, you need to make sure there is sufficient
storage space available on the backup storage device. Otherwise the backup
function will be terminated.
