1. Before Use
∫ Always record a test image first
Before important events when you will use the camera (at weddings, for example), always
record a test image to ensure that images and sound record correctly.
∫ No compensation for missed shots
We cannot compensate for missed shots if technical problems with the camera or card
prevent images and/or sound from being recorded.
∫ Carefully observe copyright laws
Unauthorised use of recorded images and sound that contain works with copyright for
purposes other than personal use is prohibited under copyright law. Recording of certain
material may be restricted even for the purpose of personal use.
∫ Please also refer to “Cautions for Use” (P301)
∫ Before using the camera, be sure to check that the accessories listed in the
supplied booklet “Basic Operating Instructions” are present.
For details on the optional accessories, refer to P283 of these operating instructions and
the supplied booklet “Basic Operating Instructions”.
