● Connection of System Controller (WV-CU550A)
The system controller is connected to the data port on the
receiver side through a modular cable (furnished with the
system controller).
• Setting of AV Codec (receiver side)
Set the No.3 DIP switch on the receiver side to the OFF
position (straight). Make the following setting for the
[421 SERIAL DATA PORT]:
Rate: 9600 or 4800
Data: 8
Stop bit: 1
Parity: NON
Parameters of the serial data port should be adjusted,
without fail, between the transmitter and the receiver.
• Setting of the system controller
Setting should be performed with the following proce-
dures:
q Set the rotary switch at [0] on the rear of the system
controller.
w Set alone MODE switch 3 to the ON position, on the
rear of the system controller.
e Turn on the CONTROLLER switch while holding
down the AUX2 and STOP buttons on the system
controller.
The Baud rate setting menu is displayed on the
LCD of the system controller.
r Press the F1 (UP) or F2 (DOWN) button on the sys-
tem controller and select the same rate as the com-
munication rate set at [421 SERIAL DATA PORT] of
the AV Codec.
t Press the F4 (SET) button on the system controller.
The setting parameters are stored in the system
controller.
At this moment, the system controller setting has been
finished.
From the next time, the preset Baud rate is fixed even
after the CONTROLLER switch has been turned off.
(The auto-Baud-rate operation of the system controller
is not executed.)
Note: After the above setting is made, controlling the
cameras with the CAM-P mode are disabled. To select
a camera position, select a camera and then select a
preset position of the camera.
