Camera Settings
Formatting will delete all the data on the CF card.
1
Select [Format] on the Main menu.

Press the four-way controller (5) to display the [Format]
screen.

Select [Format] with the
four-way controller (2).

Press the OK button.
Formatting begins.
The camera is ready to take a picture when formatting is complete.
Formatting a CF card
• Do not open the CF card cover while formatting a CF card.
The card may be damaged beyond use.
• Please note that formatting will delete protected images as well.
