You can set the camera to turn off automatically after a certain length of unused.

Select [Auto Power Off] on the Main menu.

Press the four-way controller (

to change the time for turning the
camera off.
Select from 30 sec, 1 min, 3 min, 5 min,
10 min, 15 min, 30 min, or OFF.

Press the OK button.
The camera is ready for capture or playback.
You can turn the camera operation beep on or off.

Auto Power Off
Auto Power Off will not work during playback slideshow, a USB connection and
