8.02 Commissioning
● Check the machine, especially the electrical wiring and pneumatic tubes, for possible
damage.
● Clean the machine thoroughly and then oil it / fill the oil reservoirs (see chapter 10 Care
and maintenance).
● Have specialist personnel check if the motor of the machine can be operated with the
available power supply and if it is connected properly in the terminal box. If not, do not
operate the machine!
● The balancewheel must rotate toward the operator when the motor is running, if not,
have the motor adjusted by specialist personnel.
● Connect the machine to the compressed air supply. The gauge must indicate an air
pressure of 6 bar. If necessary, set to this value (see chapter 10.04 Checking the air
pressure).
● Before operating the machine for the
first time, remove stopper 1 from its
hole.
Stopper 1 serves only to
protect the machine while
being transported and must not
be used while sewing.

8.03 Switching the machine on/off
● Turn the machine on/off (see chapter 7.01 On/Off switch).
● Carry out a test run.
