Acknowledgement (ACK) Message Syntax
Message Acknowledgement (MSA) Segment
The MSA segment in an ACK message contains the response code and the initiating
message identifier.
Examples:
This MSA segment shows that the server successfully persisted the ORU message.
MSA|AA|MONITORABC000000002D<CR>
This MSA segment shows that the receiving system found an error in the ORU message.
The receiving system returns a text message Incorrect Patient ID to the monitor.
