Negative ACK Message Syntax
Message Acknowledgement (MSA) Segment
The MSA segment in a Negative ACK message contains the response code and the
initiating message identifier.
Examples:
This MSA segment shows that the server sent an invalid query.
MSA|AE|<CR>
This MSA segment shows that there is no patient record to export.
MSA|AE|EXAMPLE123<CR>
This MSA segment from the server shows that there was a problem with the patient data
from the monitor.
MSA|AE|MONITORABC000000002D|Incorrect Patient ID<CR>
