7.0 MAINTENANCE

7.1 CLEANING ThE GRATE ANd ThE GRATE SUPPORT

7.2 CLEANING ThE ASh TRAy
Clean the grate area once a day and whenever the stove is to be lit:
- remove the grate bafe plate and lift out the grate;
- remove the ash and any encrustation that may have formed, taking
particular care to clear any clogged slits, which can be done using a
sharp pointed tool;
- make sure the “ignition hole”, located on the rear of the grate, is kept
clean;
- check the grate support and remove any ash.
a After cleaning and before lighting the stove, check that the
grate is correctly inserted and pushed back towards the lower
rear bafe. Ret the grate bafe plate.
a This type of cleaning requires a vacuum cleaner suitable for
holding ash.
To dispose the ashes, refer to the paragraph “DISPOSAL OF ASHES”.

Every two days, check the ash drawer to see if it needs emptying.

With reference to the safety standards in force overseeing electrical appliances, in the instance of all installation, maintenance or intervention
operations, which involve accessing the inside of the cladding or smoke box, you must seek the assistance of a Technical Support Centre or qualied
personnel.
Maintenance is to be considered compulsory for correct and efcient stove operation. If maintenance is not carried out with the recommended
frequency stove performance could suffer.
The manufacturer will not be responsible for stove deterioration or malfunction if due to poor maintenance.
All maintenance work (cleaning, any replacements etc.) must be carried out when the stove is shutdown and cold and with the power cable
disconnected.
The frequency of interventions noted below are merely indicative.
For the disposal of ashes please refer to the section DISPOSAL OF ASH”.
Do not use any material that could scratch or spoil the glass, as scratches may develop into cracks or breaks; under no circumstances use abrasive
substance.
