Exit Seal Only mode
1. Select Sealer.
2. Select Exit seal only mode. You return to the Run Mail screen.
Sealing envelopes without printing postage
You can create a job to seal envelopes without printing anything on the envelope. If your meter uses
accounting, a piece count will be included in accounting reports.
1. Select the Run Mail button in the Mailing tile on the Home screen.
2. Select Options.
3. Select Create new job....
4. Select Seal only, No Printing.
5. Select OK. The job appears in a new job tab.
6. Select Account and choose the desired account.
7. Select Start to begin feeding and sealing envelopes.
8. If you want to save this job, select Save as.
9. Enter the new job name and select OK.
To exit Seal Only mode:
1. Select Sealer.
2. Select Exit seal only mode. You return to the Run Mail screen.
Refilling the envelope and tape sealant bottle
Your mailing system displays a message telling you when your E-Z Seal® is running low. When you
receive this message, your system can still seal approximately 50 envelopes.
Pitney Bowes recommends using E-Z Seal® because it helps keep your moistener tank clean and
improves sealing performance. Refill the sealant bottle when your E-Z Seal® is running low.
1. Lift the sealant bottle out of the cradle. The bottle is located to the right of the printer module,
behind the stacker.
2. Remove the cap from the bottle.
