Changing the envelope or tape quantity
Specify the number of envelopes to print to count down and stop the machine after a certain number of
pieces have been processed. For example, you might want to remove a certain number from the
stacker and place in a separate tray or bag.
To change the number of envelopes or tapes to print, toggle between the Envelope quantity or Tape
quantity tab on the Run Mail screen.
Changing the envelope quantity
1. Ensure that the appropriate job is open and selected on the Run Mail screen.
2. Select Options then select the Show envelope quantity feature check box.
3. Select Options to hide the Options menu.
4. Select the envelope Quantity box.
5. Select one of the preset quantities or enter a different number of envelopes. Select OK. The
maximum envelope quantity is 9999.
6. Select Start. The meter stops once it has processed the number of envelopes you specified.
Changing the tape quantity
1. Ensure that the appropriate job is open and selected on the Run Mail screen.
2. Select the Tape quantity tab on the Run Mail screen.
3. Select one of the preset quantities or enter a different number of tapes. Select OK. The
maximum tape quantity is 99.
4. Select the Tape button. The meter will stop once it has processed the number of tapes you
specified.
Setting the Energy Star timeout
Follow these steps to set the Energy Star timeout.
1. Select Settings under Mailing on the Home screen.
2. Select System.
3. Tap Timeouts.
