7 CEPHALOSTAT ADJUSTMENT
NOTE Switch the unit off after all the checks and adjustments have been performed, before
taking any patient exposures.
7.1 Preparations before adjustments
Remove the inner cover from tube head assembly. Four screws hold the tube head cover in
position, these are located at the rear of the tube head assembly.

Rotate the cephalostat head support to the lateral ceph position. Remove the ear posts.
