PATIENT POSITIONING LIGHTS
Technical Manual
The Frankfort plane light beam must be located between the two black lines on the alignment
tool. It must be horizontal.
The focal layer light beam must be positioned so that it is on the black reference line on the
side of the ball phantom.
The midsagittal plane light beam must strike the black line on the front of the ball phantom.
If the light beams do not coincide with the black lines or they are not in focus, they should be
adjusted.
