Step 2: Create events for both the split and combined mode
The next step is to determine how the logic switch operates – when the switch
circuit is closed are the rooms split or combined? This information will deter-
mine which preset is called when the switch is open and when the switch is
closed. Assuming that the split preset is required when the switch is closed,
the following Split Mode and Combine Mode events should be created.
After adding these two events, the event page will show both events. From the
events page is it easy to see that when the switch is closed the split preset will
be run and when the switch is open the combined preset will be run. If it is
determined once the switch is installed that the switch logic is reversed and the
