3.3 Printing Management
3.3.1 Start/Stop Printing
Tips: When using an external photocell, it should be sensed (triggered) before printing. When
using the internal photocell, the photocell should be sensed before printing. (In combined mode or
separated mode, double print head only needs to sense from one photocell signal)
Select the message, and press【Start】
After selecting ‘start printing’ a printing report will pop up and the【Start】button
will change to【Stop】, then after receiving the sensor signal the message will be printed.
Printing Report Display: While printing is on, the user will see the below information from
the printing report. Report content changes according to the real time printing status. Click the top
arrow to hide the report, click again to display:
Left: Message name, counter, system time.
Middle: Dynamic source content in printing (only when counter, shift included in the message).
Right: Scan content, next printing content (only displays while printing scanning information.)
Click【Stop】the printing report will disappear, button will go back to【Start】.
3.3.2 Printing Delay
Printing Delay: This is the distance from the point where the photocell senses the printing object
to the point where the printing starts. The user can adjust the value to alter the print position on
printing object.
Default delay is 25mm. Value is within 0-1000mm, down to the first decimal point. Click ‘Yes’
to save the setting and go back to the previous menu or click ‘No’ to quit without saving. Setting
modifications will be valid from the next printed message. The delay value can also be set after
printing has started. (When choosing separated mode, user can set P1, P2 print delay separately.)
3.3.3 Initial Setting
Note: This function is only valid while the message contains counter / text sources. After
printing has started, this setting is not settable.
Counter
Current Value: the value will be printed after you start printing, value needs to be within the
begin value and end value.
System: User can choose the system in the pull-down menu.
