4.2 Ink Cartridge Maintenance
Maintaining correct cartridge care methods for use and ideal storage of the ink cartridge will keep
the cartridge working and maintain best print quality and extended cartridge life. Please always
follow the instructions for Ink Cartridge Maintenance. The warranty will not cover damage or failure
caused from negligence by not following our maintenance care instructions.
Ink will volatilize slowly if the cartridge is de-capped. Keep new and unopened cartridge in its
original packaging.
Try to use up your ink cartridge as soon as possible once the cartridge is opened to prevent blocked
nozzles due to the ink drying and accumulating. Note: Due to the nature of different inks, the dry
time and maintenance can vary. Contact our after-sale service for more information.
If the ink cartridge is not being used, remove the cartridge from the printer and lock the print head
with the customized cap and store in ideal storage conditions.
Note: Do not use adhesive tape to seal the printhead and do not store cartridges in soft plastic bags.
