Note 1: The table below lists the most commonly seen problems and solutions. If you experience
any other problems, please contact your local distributor or Digital Ink Technologies for assistance.
Note 2: The table below is for reference only, each problem may differ depending on the
individual situation such as the installation environment and operation.

1. Nozzle blockage
or damage

Please check that the
bottom cartridge
contacts are not oily

the cartridge chip
contacts the print

good connection
with printer
Remove the cartridge
and re-insert.

The top half of the print is
complete and the
bottom half of the print is
incomplete
Ink is low or air
bubbles are blocking
the nozzles
A. Check status bar if
there’s an alarm due
to low ink. B. Return to
distributor for testing.
Most of the time this
issue can be resolved by
purging and wiping the
head

The print is totally blank
Ink is used up
or nozzle

total blockage

Unable to identify the
ink cartridge
1. Connectivity
problem with the
printer (defect or
damaged)
Check to see if there
is a smart chip
connected to the
cartridge, it may have
incorrect placement
Remove cartridge
and re-insert.
If the problem is still
unsolved:
1, Please check that the
drive panel contacts are
sunken and do not
bounce
2,Check if cartridge
contacts are dirty
3, Check if there’s ink
contamination on smart
card.
4, Check if there’s any
sunken connector on the
ISM
2. Cartridge dealer
code mistake.
Change to a new
cartridge and re-
insert.
