Video Playback Interface
Incidents Record: Backup
This sub secon will show you how to backup your incident list’s video footage to an
external data storage device.
Next to the ‘Incidents’ buon on the Playback interface there is another buon ,
which when clicked, will bring up the ‘New Backup’ menu window as shown below:
To backup incident footage; rstly connect
your external backup storage device to one
of the NVR unit’s USB ports.
When the NVR unit has recognised and
installed the external backup storage
device, click on the ‘Find Drives’ Buon on
the menu window (highlighted by the red
box).
This will allow the NVR’s ‘New Backup’
menu to provide you with a list of backup
devices from the ‘Please Select a Drive
From This List’ drop down menu, found
just above the ‘Find Drives’ Buon.
IMPORTANT:
Please make sure you have enough space on the external backup storage device before
you backup your incident footage.
Backups are only stored on the NVR within the ‘New Backups’. List(s) of the backed up
incident(s) created will be retained unl the next me the NVR reboots.

The ‘New Backup’ menu will allow you to create
an external backup copy of the selected indexed
incident. This will allow you to either transfer the
video footage of the incident to another playback
device or to keep as a backup archive just in case
the master copy is destroyed, either by hard drive
disk corrupon or it is physically damaged.
