If the Rain Bird Controller display indicates an active program but the system isn't watering, several factors could be at play. First, ensure your water source is supplying water without disruptions and that all supply lines are open. Next, verify that the field wiring, master valve, or pump start relay wiring is securely connected both at the controller and in the field. Also, inspect the field wiring for any damage, replacing it if necessary, and ensure wiring connections are watertight. Finally, remember that during a power loss, with a 9-volt battery installed, the system won't irrigate even if programs appear active.
