In steam mode, combi cooking mode, cleaning or SC-automatic:
The unit displays the notice "Steam generator fill quantity", followed by service error 42.1
Error tree: Filling solenoid valve Y1 does not open

Check that the latest unit software is installed
on the unit.
No water flows in the Combi-water box.
Test the water tap:
Is water coming out of the hand shower?
Open the water tap.
Problem solved?End
Go to "Service level" - "Steam" launcher - "Diagnosis" tab.
Go to "Steam" launcher - "Diagnosis" tab: If Y1 is "Off", the level electrode S2 must be on "full".
If level electrode S2 "empty" is shown, the filling solenoid valve Y1 must be "On".
Check under
"Status of other components"
- "Filling solenoid valve Y1".
Remove the side panel of the unit.
Check the hose running from the filling solenoid valve Y1 to the Combi water box for blockage and remove if necessary.
Problem solved? End
Check the relay with which the solenoid valve control Y1 is controlled:
In the service level, go to "Clean & Care" launcher - "Function test" tab. Set the solenoid valve Y1 to "active" and switch it
from "Off" to "On".
