The water level in the steam generator does not drop during automatic pumping.
Activate the functional test in the service level
Start the SC-pump M4
Check short circuit of level electrode,
or drain system/discharge box for
dirt, clean system if necessary
Check the pump, pump hose and Combi water box for
limescale deposits or other dirt. Check the inlet of the - pump
on the steam generator side. Dirty?
Pump active, water is pumped off
automatically.
Yes No
Clean, check and, if necessary, replace the pump
housing, descale the steam generator, clean the
Combi water box, clean the pump hose,
connecting hose and ventilation pipe
Yes
Is control fuse A10-F1 and A10-F2 on I /
O PCB (A10) OK?
No
Replace fuse F1 and/or F2
on A10
The M4 is connected to the PCB A13.
Check if the PCB is powered, where the M15 is
controlled, e.g. the pump. Supplied with power?
Yes
No
Measure 150-V output on the pump board X2 during
the function test. Is a voltage of 150 V present?
Check the cable, plug and pump.
Replace any faulty parts
Are the 3 green LEDs on the I/O board
(A10) lit up?
Replace I/O board 42.00.311
Check cable and pump for short circuit, replace fuse if
necessary
Reset errors by starting a cleaning programme.
