5.1.1 Signal strength
The signal strength is displayed as a percentage and on a signal bar.
The signal bar colour matches the colour of the connected readhead’s LED.
5.1.2 Digital readout of the encoder position
5.1.2.1 Linear position display
The software will automatically select the linear or rotary scale type for display depending on the system
connected.
When a linear system is connected, the position will be displayed in either metric or encoder units.
The units can be selected in the software settings window.
5.1.2.2 Rotary position display
When a rotary system is connected, the position can be displayed in either
degrees/minutes/seconds or as encoder units.
The units can be selected in the software settings window.
