• If a document that is not copy-guarded is copied, faxed and scanned, or stored, the copy or stored
file is not grayed out.
1. Press the [User Tools/Counter] key.
2. Press [System Settings].
3. Press [Administrator Tools].
4. Press [Data Security for Copying].
If the setting you want to specify does not appear, press [ Next] to scroll down to other settings.
5. Press [On].
If you do not want to specify "Data Security for Copying", select [Off].
6. Press [OK].
7. Press [Exit].
8. Press the [User Tools/Counter] key.
