Confi dential Safeguard
Confi dential safeguard function, which prevents printing unless master making has been
completed, is a simple means of prohibiting others from printing sensitive documents.
This function ejects the master wound around the drum and wind a new blank master around the drum.
● When confi dential safeguard function is set, printing and test printing cannot be performed and
Document Memory function is not available. Other operations can be performed as normal.
● Turning the power OFF does not cancel Confi dential Safeguard function.
● Master making still functions even if Confi dential Safeguard function is set.
● Once master making is carried out, Confi dential Safeguard function is canceled.
How to Set Confi dential Safeguard
Touch “PROPERTY”.
Touch “SPECIAL”.
Special Function: Confi dential Safeguard
IMPORTANT
Make sure that the main screen is displayed on the
touch panel LCD.
